The MODEL NAME has two modes; turbo and user-defined. Turbo mode provides 100% brightness output while User-defined mode allows you to cycle and select from 5 different brightness settings. Each of the two modes can be selected by loosening or tightening the head of the light.
Note: the light is made up of three components; the head, the center grooved grip and the tail cap with grooved grip. Grip the center grooved grip with your thumb and index finger to hold the light. Use your other hand to twist the head component to loosen and tighten to access the modes. (The light will turn off if you accidentally loosen the tail cap instead of the head component)
For test purpose, please remove the pocket clip. If installed improperly, it can prevent the light from turning on.
To access Turbo mode(with light off)
- Completely tighten the head of the light.
- To power on fully press the tail cap switch.
To access User-defined mode:
- With the light off, slightly loosen the head.
- Half press the tail cap switch to cycle thru the 5 brightness settings; High, Mid, Low, SOS, and Strobe. Each half press of the switch will take you to a different setting.
- Fully press the tail cap switch to select and memorize a desired setting
- Note: If you turn off the light at user defined setting and quickly turn it on again, it will advance to the next setting. If you wait for 5-10 seconds, it will go back to the original setting. This is by design
