There are two ways to activate strobe on the Eagletac P25A2 model. Please test the light with the steps below
1. Activate Strobe through twisting the head.
1) Tighten the head of the light.
2) Turn on the light. It shall be at the maximum brightness output
3) Loosen the head to the dimmest level and tighten the head again with 1 second. The light should be in Strobe mode now.
4) If you repeat step (3), the light will go into different auxiliary modes.
Note: This auxiliary modes can not be memorized after the light is turned off
2. Activate Strobe through tail cap click
1) Tighten the head of the light. If you turn on the light, it should be at the maximum output.
2) Turn off the light
3) Half press the tail cap switch until you see the light comes out, then loosen the pressure on the switch so the light turns off. (In another word, do not "Click" down the switch)
4) Repeat step (3) for 20 to 30 times until the light output switches to strobe. You don't have to do it very fast, just steadily.
5) When you see the light starts to strobe, click the power button all the way down. (You shall hear a click)
6) Now the strobe can be activate by double click or double half-click the power button.
To disable this feature, repeat step (3) for 20-30 times or until you see the light output stays on steady between the half clicks.
