1. Remove the battery pack from the light. Plug the wall charging adapter to the battery. The small blue indicator shall start blinking.
2. Let the battery charge for 5-6 hours.
3. Install the battery pack to the light. Upon tightening the head of the light, does the LCD screen display "Nitecore" LOGO? If it does, wait for 2 seconds and the battery type selection option should appear. You can click the small button next to the LCD screen and select the "Battery Pack" then click the power button to confirm.
4. Test the light again.
If the light is showing that a fully charged NBP68HD is partially depleted it is possible the light is not set to the correct battery setting. To check and correct this do the following;
1.Completely remove the battery pack from the back of the light.
2.Screw the pack back into the light fully but do not turn on the light.
3.Click in the display cycle button to cycle through the different battery pack modes.
4.With the IMR setting selected the light will continue to display incorrect information regarding the battery.
5.Select the pack setting to ensure the light is correctly displaying the battery information.
