What we have learned so far
1. The tail cap is incompatible with previous models (P12, P12GTS etc)
2. The RSW2D is the compatible pressure switch
3. The pocket clip is incompatible with previous models (P12, P12GTS etc)
4. It reaches 1800 lumens with 8A+ 18650.
5. When using Nl183, we have not experienced shutting off, yet.
6. Unlike previous models, the head and the body tube is glued together. The only detachable part is the tail cap. There is no "tighten the head". -- Good
7. The tail cap does not have the inner plate that we can tighten with pliers. There is no "tighten the plate" for this light -- Good
8. There are a lanyard, an O-ring, and a pocket clip in the accessory bag.
9. The light still uses 217 holster
10. MH25GTS is dramatically different from MH25GT. It is much more close to the MH12GTS than to MH25GT
11. The Charging on the Mh12GTS and MH25GTS are different from the previous model -- different location, different indicators, different troubleshooting.
12. Comparison between P12, P12GT and P12GTS (MH12, MH12GT and MH12GTS)
1) Brightness: P12GTS >> P12/P12GT
2) Throw: P12GT > P12GTS/P12
3) Metal side switch (P12GTS) vs Rubber side switch (P12/P12GT)
4) Slight difference in functions. (Strobe, how to reach dimmest/brightest setting directly etc)
Possible Troubleshooting
1. The tactical ring has threads. If it is too loose it will prevent the tail cap from being fully tightened.
The light won't turn on,
Or the light won't turn off.
Fraud Prevention
The P12GTS can be identified with
1. The P12GTS model imprinted on the body tube
2. The metal side switch
