D25C MKII can memorize the start mode in group I (when the head is loosened)
Please follow the steps below to set up a start mode
1. Loosen the head
2. Turn on the light. Tap the tail cap switch until it reaches your desired mode. (It can be any brightness level or strobe)
3. Wait for 2 seconds
4. Tighten the head
5. Wait for another 2 seconds
6. Loosen and tighten the head of the light three times
7 Wait for 2 seconds and turn off the light
The light now will activate your desired setting whenever you turn on it when the head is loosened.
Note: The light will still advance to the next setting if you quickly tap or turn off/on the light. This is by design.
