Can you follow the steps below to test the light?
1) Remove the tail cap, remove the battery and hold the light upside down to ensure there is nothing blocking the contact. The factory usually puts an insulating piece between the battery and the light. It has to be removed prior to use/charge.
2) Can you check the attached image to verify that the E4K light comes with a correct NL2150HPR battery?
2) Instead of tapping the switch button, press and hold down the button while pointing the light head to your other palm.
