1. The most basic requirement: The gun has to have a standard accessory rail


2. Product recommendations


1) If the barrel length is shorter than 4".

  • Light: PL-MINI2 
  • Laser: TM-G, TM-R
  • Light/laser combo: Baldr MINI (GLLX-S can fit too but it will be discontinued soon)


2) if the barrel length is equal or longer than 4"

  • Light: PL-PRO, PL-2
  • Laser: LG-9, LG-9T
  • Light/laser combo: Baldr Pro, Baldr RL, FLG-9T

Note: all models from list (1) can fit (2) as well but 

  1. They generally are not as bright as the ones from list (2)
  2. Except for the one with sliding mount (PL-MINI2, Baldr MINI) the rest might not hug the triggerguard if the gun has only one groove on the rail.


3. Special Notes:  When google gun models, make sure to use the full model name and pay attention to the details. 

For instance, 

  • A Sig Sauer can have a rail version and no-rail version for the same model. Tthe difference is whether the model name ends with an "R". 
  • A M&P compact can be either M2.2 (3.56 inch barrel) or M2.0 (4" barrel). 
  • A M&P Shield does not have a rail but a M&P Shield EZ has a rail.

Since a gun can have many variations, after we respond to the buyer whether the light/laser will fit or not, it is always recommended adding one line at the end: Please double-check to ensure there is a standard accessory rail underneath the barrel.



4. Rail Adapter: An adapter to convert a non-standard proprietary rail to a standard accessory rail.

There are two that we know. Both can be found at around $10.00

  • A USP adapter for H&K USP model
  • A Sigma adapter for S&W SW40VE, SW9VE
