Can you follow the steps below to test the light?
1. Fully tighten the tail cap.
2. Connect the charging cable from the light to a computer USB port or a known powered USB adapter.
3. Take a look at the blue charging indicator underneath the switch. Does it blink slowly, or stay steady?
If the blue indicator stays steady, can you remove the tail cap and follow the steps below to tighten a plate inside the cap? I attached an image to show you how to tighten the plate. The instructions say to use a small screwdriver, but I find that a small pair of needle-nosed pliers work better to grab both dents at the same time. Once it is done, put back the tail cap and test the light again.
