Its specification is very similar to the I4000R but is the same size as the P20i.

Major differences between P20i and P20iX.

  • P20i is a long throw light.  Its maximum output is 1800 lumens with a 375-yard throw. P20iX is a floodlight. Its maximum output is 4000 lumens with a 240-yard throw
  • P20i does not have a memory function. It always defaults to the maximum brightness while it is turned on. P20iX remembers its previous settings in its Daily mode.

Possible troubleshooting tips for P20iX

DOA: The light does not lighten up. When the charging cable is connected, the blue power indicator does not lighten up or blinks very weakly.

Remove the tail cap and check if the white insulating disc has been removed before using/charging the light.

Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened -- we have multiple cases where a returned "defective" light turns out to have a loose cap.

4000 lumens setting does not work. It requires me to hold down the Mode button.

The light is set to the "Daily mode," where the TURBO 4000 lumens setting is only momentary. Check the manual for detailed instructions on switching to "Tactical mode," where the TURBO setting can have a steady output.
