Symptom: The light stops working
Follow the steps below to identify a defective tail cap issue.
1. Remove the tail cap
2. Wait for 5 seconds. Install and tighten the tail cap
3. If the light resumes working, connect the USB-C cable between the light and a power source. The blue power indicator next to the charging port should start blinking.
4. Wait for 3 seconds and remove the cable.
5. If the light can no longer be turned on, and the blue indicator keeps blinking slowly as if the light is still charging, the tail cap is defective and needs to be replaced.
These steps can be easily done if the customer calls in and he has the light at hand.
When communicating through emails, ask the customer to perform Steps 1-3 to confirm the light starts working again first.
