What is an LEP light?

LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) is a lighting technology that produces strong, efficient light emphasizing beam distance. LEP Tech is already popular in applications such as automotive and projection display devices due to the clear, powerful beam it provides

P35i uses a class I LEP. It is safe to use. However, do not point the flashlight directly at anyone since its focused beam is much stronger than a traditional LED light.

What is so unique about the P35i?

There are quite a few LEP flashlights on the market. However, they can only be used as a long throw light which is not practical in close to mid-distance. P35i, with its dual light source design, can be used in both situations, making it an excellent choice for many applications.

What accessories come with the P35i?

  • NL2150HPi battery (Pre-installed)
  • Remote switch RSW2i (cable part)
  • USB-C Charging cable
  • CR123A battery magazine
  • A rigid holster

Troubleshooting

Q: The OLED Screen displays, but the light does not turn on

  • Remove the tail cap to check if anything is blocking the battery contact. Fully tighten the tail cap afterward.
  • (FYI only) The OLED screen still functions even when the insulating disc is not removed. The light won't work.

Q: Why does my light only have a spot or flood beam?

  • The P35i provides three user modes. Flood, Spot, and Mix.
  • When the light is off, click the tail switch while holding the front mode button. The light will cycle through the three modes shown on the OLED display. Release the front button to select and confirm.
  • Press and hold down the front button when using the light to activate the TURBO mode that has both flood and spot beams.

Q: The OLED display does not always show a full bar when the light stops charging.

  • The P35i is fully charged when the blue charging indicator next to the charging port goes from slow blinking to a constant on.
  • The OLED display calculates the battery power level based on the current mode setting and other factors so it might report a different value from a full bar.

(FYI only. This is a little confusing but it is part of the current design, not a defect.)
