Charging with a wall adapter
Generally speaking, NU33 requires a wall adapter with 5V/2A or more output. The four blue power indicators will flash during charging to inform the user of the power level. When the battery is fully charged, the four indicators become solid.
If NU33 is being charged with an adapter of lower than 5V/2A output, one blue power indicator will flash randomly and even turn off occasionally. The headlamp either cannot charge or charges at a very slow rate. The power indicators no longer work properly during charging.
Charging with a power bank (NB10000 or NB20000)
Most modern power banks have 5V/2A+ output. They can always charge the NU33 as long as they have sufficient power left.
NU33 can be connected to a power bank with the included USB-A to USB-C charging cable or a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. The four blue power indicators will flash during charging to inform the user of the power level. When charging is completed, the four blue indicators will either stay solid or turn off (if the power bank detects the charging is complete and shuts itself off.)
FAQ
1. Light does not charge or charge very slowly. A charging indicator blinks on/off randomly and even shuts off occasionally.
The power output from the adapter is not sufficient. NU33 requires a 5V/2A+ power adapter. Please change to an adapter with higher power output.
2. When the switch is pressed down, the light blinks once but does not stay on
NU33 is in a “LOCKOUT” mode, designed to prevent it from accidental activation in the pockets or bags. To Unlock the headlamp, press and hold both buttons until the auxiliary white light turns steady. To Lock the headlamp again, turn off the light first, then press and hold down both buttons until the LED blinks three times.
