Q: I just received the headlamp (HC60 V2, HC65 V2, HC68). The light won't turn on. The charging indicator rapidly blinks when the headlamp is connected to a charging block.

A:

1. Make sure the insulating disc is removed

2. Make sure the battery cap is fully tightened.

Troubleshooting Steps for Buyers

1. Open the battery compartment by removing the cap. 2. Check for and remove any obstructions that could prevent the battery from making a secure connection with the cap. (The factory often adds an insulating disc between the battery and the cap, which must be removed before using or charging the lamp.)

3.  Inspect the threads and ensure there is only one O-ring seated properly at the base. A misplaced O-ring can prevent the cap from tightening correctly.

4. Install the battery, making sure the positive end is facing into the compartment.

5. Fully tighten the battery cap. Once you feel resistance at the end, rotate the cap back and forth a few times and give it a firm twist. A loose battery cap is a common cause of a malfunctioning light.

6. Test the headlamp again.
