We communicated with the factory regarding the NB20000's surface temperature. The engineers clarified that a surface temperature of 120F or slightly above is typical when the power bank is charging devices. This is due to the Carbo fiber material used in the NB20000, which is efficient in transferring and dissipating heat. They noted that other power banks reach similar internal temperatures but dissipate heat more slowly, resulting in a less noticeable surface heat. The factory reassured us that these temperature characteristics do not compromise the unit's reliability or safety.

The Nitecore power banks also have built-in safety circuits to monitor and regulate the temperatures, as shown in the image attached.
