The tightness of the adjustment is designed based on the overall weight of the headlamp and its center of gravity. Based on our experience and user feedback, when we shake the headlamp or tilt the lamp back and forth while holding its bracket, the angle adjustment does indeed feel looser than previous models. However, when actually used, the headlamp worn is quite stable, and its tilt angle does not charge during regular running or jumping.
There are a few variations of the NU25 models. The one with a standard headband has a slightly tight adjustment. You might want to give it a try and see if it better fits your needs.
