Fenix lights are known for their quality and rarely fail upon arrival. I tested a unit from our inventory to identify any issues. Can you follow the steps below to test your light? They might fix it right away.

1. Check the battery contact:
(1) Please unscrew the battery cap. The factory usually adds a white insulating disc between the battery and the headlamp. This disc must be removed before use or charging the headlamp. Insert the battery observing the polarity mark on the shell. Fully tighten the battery cap.
(2) Check the connectors between the headlamp and the battery pack and ensure they are pushed firmly into each other.

2. Press the power button
If only the red light blinks when you press the power button, the device is probably in LOCKOUT mode. Press both buttons at the same time until the red light stays steady to unlock it. Check the manual for more details about locking and unlocking the headlamp.
