Fenix usually has good quality control. Let’s go through a few troubleshooting steps so we can better identify the problem.

1. Which brand and type of battery are you using? For testing purpose please use a set of new CR123A batteries.

2. Unscrew the PD35 into three parts: A - Head; B- Body Tube; C - Tail Cap (see the image attached).

3. Assemble parts A and B together. Make sure the body tube B is installed in the proper direction. If you reverse B you can still screw it on but the light will not work.

4. Insert batteries into the light with positive button head pointing towards the front of the light.

5. Take a look at the thread near the end of the light tube. Make sure the O-ring is properly settled and not on top of the thread. There should be only one O-ring,.

6. Fully tighten both ends.

7. Turn on the light with the power switch on the tail cap. Tap the front button to adjust the brightness.
