Common issues: The troubleshooting steps below need to be revised or reworded case by case
We recommend testing the light with the steps below. You might want to check a few important things.
1. Has the white insulating disc between the battery and the light been removed?
2,. Is the battery fully charged?
3. Are the tail cap and the flashlight head BOTH fully tightened to the body tube?
Here are the detailed steps.
1. Battery Check: TK16 V2 comes with a battery with a built-in charging port.
(1) Remove the battery from the light.
(2) Connect the USB-C cable between the battery and a USB power adapter
(3) The charging indicator on top of the battery should turn from red to blue after a few hours to indicate a full charge
2. TK16 V2 can be dissembled into three parts: the head, the body tube, and the tail cap. When removing and reinstalling the battery, the head of the flashlight frequently becomes loose accidentally and causes the light to stop working.
Please follow the steps below to test the light.
(1) Install the battery with its button top towards the front of the flashlight.
(2) Fully tighten the tail cap
(3) Fully tighten the head of the light to the body tube (Important step)
(4) Test the flashlight again
