The strobe function can be disabled or enabled on Orion H30 by following the steps below.
To enable the strobe:
1) Tightening the head and turn on the light. It should be in the maximum output mode.
2) Loosen the head of the light. Tap the tail cap switch (or turn it off/on) until the light is in the dimmest setting
3) With the light on, tighten the head then loosen it again. The light shall alternate between maximum and minimum brightness. Do it 5-7 times. At around 5th round, you shall notice the "dimmest" setting suddenly becomes brighter.
4) The strobe setting should be back now.
If you repeat step (1) to (4), you can disable strobe again.
